Saving Diagrams as Bitmaps

You may wish to insert a LumiCode diagram into a different document, for example: a Microsoft Word document or Powerpoint presentation. Or you may want to deliver an image to a print service to create a wall chart.

The solution, in both cases, is to export your diagram as a bitmap, and then insert it into the program you are using to create the document. LumiCode allows you to export to the most popular image formats.

To save as a bitmap

1. Under the File menu, click Save as Bitmap.



2. In the Save as Bitmap dialog, click Browse, and then set the location for the bitmap file.

3. Set the width of the result bitmap in pixels.

4. If you check the Auto Height box, the height will be adjusted automatically based on the width you have chosen and the aspect ratio of your diagram.

5. If you have not checked the Auto Height box, enter the height for the result bitmap in pixels. The image will be scaled to fit the size you have chosen.

6. Use the Format list to select the format you desire.

7. Click the Save button to save the bitmap.
