Saving Diagrams as Bitmaps

You can insert a LumiCode diagram into a different document, for example, a Microsoft Word document or Powerpoint presentation. Or you may want to deliver an image to a print service to create a wall chart.

The solution is to export your diagram as a bitmap, and then insert it into the program you are using to create the document. LumiCode allows you to export to the most popular image formats.

The Save as Bitmap feature is enabled only when a tab containing a diagram is selected.

To save as a bitmap

1. Under the File menu, click Save as Bitmap.



2. In the Save as Bitmap dialog, click Browse, and then set the location for the bitmap file.

3. If you would like to scale the bitmap to a certain size, check Fit to size, and then set the desired Height and Width.

4. Use the Format list to select the format you desire.

5. Click the Save button to save the bitmap.

Copying to clipboard

It's often much quicker to just copy a diagram to the clipboard and paste it into a document.

1. Click the right mouse button on a diagram, and then select Copy to clipboard. You can now paste the diagram into any application that allows pasting bitmaps.
